<tunixman> hey all, I know I've asked this in the past, but I'm once again looking at good SID emulators. Does anybody have any recommendations?
<tunixman> I used to use something back in the day, but this was the 80s, I was a younger lad then with nearly no history to cloud my judgement.
<cr1901> There were SID emulators in the 80s?
<tunixman> no, I had actual SIDs.
<ZrX-oMs> sidplay
<tunixman> inside computers. it was wild.
<ZrX-oMs> Or vsid from vice
<tunixman> like, you could buy a fully functioning SID with a computer around it and start making music.
<cr1901> Really? Who would make such a thing :o?
<cr1901> A SID surrounded by a computer
<ZrX-oMs> Ensoniq
<cr1901> Commodore Semiconductor Group also, apparently
<ZrX-oMs> That Atari company?
<cr1901> Yea maybe :D
