speaking of arcade stuff, the past 2 MAME versions should have my fixes for the sound mixing and filtering in nichibutsu games in them

so you can hear the low quality dac sounds and the mix levels between the yamaha and dac much more accurately now

the lowpass filters on the dac were completely missing

and the ym2203 version of terra cresta (when yamaha couldn't supply enough ym3526 OPL chips to nichibutsu so they did a bodge hack to use a ym2203 instead) should be close to correct too, although their bodge filters for the ym2203 have what seem like design errors
