<bonda_000> this is pretty cool. I just found a tool to convert to RGB easily
<bonda_000> `./magick image.bmp -depth 8 rgb:image.txt
<bonda_000> `
<clever> yep, ive used imagemagick for a number of things in the past
<bonda_000> so my 5x5 pixel bmp image just turned into a 75 byte file of R,G,B channels
<bonda_000> I'm gonna try and make an interpolator on FPGA
<bonda_000> and then feed it 5x5 bayer patterns and see how well it can de-bayer those
<bonda_000> I feel like all this sequential processing of image is old tech
<bonda_000> Copying it all over the place in the RAM
<bonda_000> I'm gonna try to do it on registers
<bonda_000> it is not as accurate as floating point processing
<bonda_000> but it is instantaneous
<bonda_000> at 0 clock cycles
