I'm trying to use MULTILIB on a iMX8X platform to have a 32bit application running on a 64bit system. The image build is following https://www.yoedistro.org/posts/2020-04-09_64-bit-kernels-with-32-bit-userspace/ but the SDK is failling during nativesdk-glibc. Is there special settings to apply to have a working SDK ?

<jbj>
Argh.. Ignore a .bbappend file in a layer that I'm not in control off?
<kranzo>
Hi, i play around with eSDK creation on dunfell, can anyone explain me why the templateconf is relevant for the esdk? espacially the original path? isn't the bblayer.conf and other files rewritten anyway?

<ernstp>
sakoman: did you see my suggestion about picking "bitbake: fetch2/wget: Update user-agent" for dunfell?
<ernstp>
sakoman: and of course my idea with "cve-check: Don't use f-strings" was to have it picked to dunfell also!
<sakoman>
ernstp: yes, I have the bitbake patch in my queue

sakoman: super!
<sakoman>
ernstp: and the cve-check will be backported too, it just hit master. I usually wait a few days before backporting from master to allow time for testing there

<zeddii>
anyone else seeing perl-native hang on install ?
<JaMa>
zeddii: if it's just make eating your cpu, then most likely the same as what I was seeing
<zeddii>
yah. that's what it looked like when poking at the usage.

zeddii: I'm guessing no, but wondering if the LXC upgrade you mentioned on the ml is targeting kirkstone or not?
<zeddii>
right. just master.
<smurray>
okay, I need to start up the AGL next branch for post-kirkstone anyways, I can try to get a test with it this week for the one build in AGL that uses LXC

zeddii: it happens when you rebuild perl in the same build directory

zeddii: i.e. re-run compile or similar. I don't know why

someone should file a bug

or better still debug it
