the other thing i've got going on is an rk3588s-based board that just won't give me serial console... but I think I have an idea as to why

I have CONFIG_DEBUG_UART=y but the problem seems to be that no matter what i do, early console/serial stuff seems to work only on ttyS2/ttyFIQ0 and this board does not seem to expose those pins or at least if they do its undocumented.

sjg1: I can see there's some FSL validation stuff changed, so builds but probably doesn't boot in that case.

hi! patman question: I mistakenly commited something which had a 'Series-cover:' git message tag; now when I try adding Series-cover: to my current series, it complains: ValueError: In 198134d48f3b0c16135fd14c725bd221ef642446: line 'Series-cover:': Cannot add another value '['']' to series 'None'. Any way out?
