schematics for the rock960c aren't easy to come by (rock960 schematics are available) so i'm wondering what other differences there might be

marex: yes, i believe the TPL on that platform is mostly (only?) initializing DRAM

finding a datasheet for that RAM isn't going well, the vendor's site Hynix doesn't have it anymore (any links i find to it on google give a 404)
