<mewt> hi, how can I select the curved face of a cylinder I extruded and triangle meshed to constrain my assembly? is this possible
<mewt> if not, is there any way to do something like "flush with the inner wall of a hollow cylinder, assuming OD on one object is ID of the other
<mewt> it appears right now the best way is making a workplane either cutting the center of the cylinder or tangent to the inner circle boundary, then putting a line in it I can constrain points on the edge of the other things to lie on
<mewt> well, whitelogger doesn't make this look promising, sadly...
<ghane> I'm not entirely sure, but perhaps if you add some points on the cylinder and perhaps construction lines to set the constraints against? But it's just a long-shot guess...
<mewt> yes, adding datum points is what I settled on
<mewt> just constrain to lie on the inner diameter and horizontal or vertical w/ origin and they become lines in the extrusion
