<vipqualitypost> @azonenberg just came across your thread asking about programming calculators - funnily enough I also was digging for a good one recently and ended up using speedcrunch
<d1b2>
<azonenberg> speedcrunch seems like it could be extended to do what i want well
<d1b2>
<azonenberg> but there's a few little warts. i'm used to the base of a calculator being a state i can change for both input and output
<d1b2>
<azonenberg> i.e. i should be able to just type deadbeef + cafebabe when in hex mode
<d1b2>
<azonenberg> and not have to 0x prefix
<d1b2>
<azonenberg> i just dont have the time to write a PR or build the latest code to dev on or anything
<azonenberg>
See above, open to comments if anyone disagrees with either of the rules. This is intentionally minimal, I don't want to write hundreds of rules to cover every conceivable circumstance unless someone actually causes a problem demanding they be added
<azonenberg>
We can rephrase or clarify if anyone has issues with how it's worded but I think the rules themselves are sufficiently fundamental that they're pretty non-negotiable
