i purged the install but will re try but i think logs were bitchign about something relating to ssl

ports shouldnt be an issue as i have my ip running in dmz at the moment

It's more a matter of getting the right port in the right place -- for example if you have nginx in front of sandstorm, and sandstorm is running on 6080 but nginx is trying to talk to it at port 80. That's the usual sort of issue.

As for TLS, I ended up having nginx handle that.
