<Riccardo Casatta> I've some code (https://github.com/RCasatta/embedded_playground/tree/master/aerotemp-f1-rtic-2) for stm32f103, it uses rtic, rtt and defmt. It works ok when flashed with the jtag programmer but when I power the device from usb it doesn't start (occasionaly it starts, when it doesn't it requires pressing the reset button).
<re_irc>
Note i unset DEFMT_LOG when I want to start without the programmer

<yruama_lairba> burrbull: thank you. Actually, i'm looking how other "serial" hal are writted to get inspired for I2S implementation.
<re_irc>
<yruama_lairba> i think i will do a rewrite stm32_i2s_v12 to have API closer to the hardware.
<re_irc>
<yruama_lairba> the current implementation have many issue in general, and is definitely not adapted to work with interrput in particular
<re_irc>
<yruama_lairba> i should a question to the orginal stm32_i2s_v12 authors, how he knows the list of stm32 chip having the same spi/i2S peripheral ?

<firefrommoonlight> For a new device using audio, I would focus on SAI
