i can't figure out how to get (require racket/format) to work? (require racket/string) seems to work ok. is there like, something extra i need to download, do i need to fiddle with language settings?

Chwoka: what problem / error are you having? Do the functions work for you in #lang racket?

aha, looking at your code i think i can see the problem. i'm using the beginner student language from how to design programs and it does implement racket/string but NOT racket/format

if i simply set it up to #lang racket/base like you (and to get the language from the source) it works
