Hello :) Regenaxer I want to add a Kurdish to the localizations of PilBox, what language is a good template that has all the words? Do you have a template file that is just English? like ("Yes" "Yes") because that is super easy to work with. In the list of languages it should display Kurdish (Central) with file name ckb
<Hunar>
because we have to main dialects, the other one is Kurdish (Northern) with file name ku I'm not good at this dialect so i'll leave it
<Regenaxer>
Hi Hunar! We are in PilCon :)
<Hunar>
Oh, I just noticed the date:/ Unfortunately I'm at work .. have a nice meeting:)

<Regenaxer>
OK, we are done
<Regenaxer>
Unfortunately, I'm busy. But to make a new language, pil21/loc/ neeeds to be added to
<Regenaxer>
and then perhaps in the demo app
<Regenaxer>
app/loc/

No problem :) answer whenever you are ready.. So If I for example use the French language files loc/FR.l and loc/fr then translate texts and rename files, would that be enough? because I don't see the word Française in either of the files I mentioned, while Its visible in the language selection of PilBox. so there must be
<Hunar>
other files too right?
<Regenaxer>
yes, loc/FR.l and loc/fr are fine
<Regenaxer>
An example how they are referred to is also in app/
<Regenaxer>
The global *Locales in app/main.l
<Regenaxer>
used in app/gui.l
<Hunar>
Ah I see :) there isn't much to translate.. I'll send it to you tonight
<Hunar>
Sorry I didn't fully understand app/ do you mean this line ("کوردیی ناوەندی" "CKB" . "ckb") or there is another file to translate
<Regenaxer>
yes, this line would be added to *Locales in app/main.l
<Regenaxer>
To translate is loc/ckb app/loc/ckb and loc/CKB.l
<Regenaxer>
s/translate/create
<Hunar>
Ah, Now I understand all of it :)
<Regenaxer>
:)
<Hunar>
The language is rightToLeft, but I think that's a css issue
<Regenaxer>
Oh, not sure
<Regenaxer>
Thats an interesting new case
<Hunar>
Yeah :)
<Hunar>
Adding html { direction: rtl; } to lib.css is doing most of the job for me :) I'm not sure if that covers all the cases, I don't have a lot of experience with html
<Regenaxer>
What happens if the CSS is not set?
<Regenaxer>
I mean, this mechanism is not there
<Hunar>
The texts themselves don't have any problem with RTL text :)
<Regenaxer>
They are displayed correctly?
<Hunar>
Yes :)
<Regenaxer>
coil
<Regenaxer>
cool
<Hunar>
That's another advantage of using a web browser for display.. racket didn't support rtl text
<Regenaxer>
But with some CSS change it is better?
<Hunar>
CSS fixes the layout, so if I made a from by defining label then textField labels is on left and textFiled is on right, and both of them are on the left side of the screen .. with html { direction: rtl; } all of it is flipped to the right side, along with the order
<Regenaxer>
The +Style class might fix that
<Regenaxer>
looking at the locale
<Hunar>
Can we use the global html { direction: rtl; } style based on the language selected and runtime?
<Hunar>
at runtime*
<Regenaxer>
Could be coded into 'menu' I think
<Regenaxer>
app/gui.l
<Hunar>
I'll go home and be back when I finish the translation :)

What does *NatTrunkPrf stand for?
<Regenaxer>
I think "national trunk number prefix"
<Hunar>
Done :), here are the files: app/loc/ckb http://ix.io/3LMR pil21/loc/CKB.l http://ix.io/3LN3 pil21/loc/ckb http://ix.io/3LN2 I added afew lines for pilbox at the bottom, you may or may not want to delete it
<Hunar>
("کوردیی ناوەندی" "CKB" "ckb")
<Regenaxer>
Cool, I try
<Regenaxer>
Interesting! You added PilBox
<Hunar>
Yes :) I was ugly when a button was English and another was not
<Hunar>
It was*
<Regenaxer>
true, but the translations are not used anywhere
<Regenaxer>
In assets/run/App.l there are no commas before these strings
<Regenaxer>
Technical terms
<Regenaxer>
like the built-in error messages too
<Regenaxer>
Is it OK if I remove these translations from pil21/loc/ckb ?

I have function (* A B) returns 999. I want to increase A and B roughly same to have returned 1500. It is kind of difference backpropagation on multiplication. I only have very ugly expensive solutions so far.
