<markand>
I have this issue trying to use openocd with my lpc1768: https://bpa.st/PGCA
<markand>
using interface/cmsis-dap.cfg + target/lpc17xx.cfg (segger link base configured as cmsis-dap)
<PaulFertser>
markand: hi
<PaulFertser>
markand: probably the target is running some firmware that enters sleep or something?
<markand>
hmmm, that will be hard to solve if I can't flash it anymore
<PaulFertser>
markand: usually targets provide means to regain debug control no matter what. E.g. stm32 (and other proper cortex-m targets) allow SWD communication with reset asserted.
<PaulFertser>
But different targets have different quirks.
<markand>
let me check
<PaulFertser>
markand: btw, I remember some LPC devices only supported JTAG for boundary scan and needed SWD for debug.
<markand>
if I use transport swd I get openocd that exits with no error
<markand>
ah no I get a Error: [lpc17xx.cpu] Could not find MEM-AP to control the core
