<apuder> Hi. I managed to compile openFPGALoader under Cygwin. I'm trying to flash a 20K. But it can't open the FTDI device. One weird thing is that the openFPGALoader binary under windows does not have the -d parameter where I could specify a COM port (I do see the FTDI adapter in Windows device manager).
<cr1901> FTDI devices on openFPGALoader require Zadig on Windows. Short version: FTDI provides a driver, it does not play nice with the libftdi dependency, Zadig forcefully provides an FTDI driver with _does_ play nice w/ libftdi on Windows.
<apuder> Thanks, cr1901. I installed the driver you suggested but still get the error message "JTAG init failed with: unable to open ftdi device". What irritates me is that openFPGALoader does not have a -d command line parameter under Windows. Is that expected behavior?

<cr1901> Well, at least apuder understands IRC is async. I'll just wait for them to return. Or if they read the logs... I want the output of --scan-usb
