<discocaml> <MasterBuilder> @pilothole hey, do you have a binding for the `PT_Time` function from the PortTime part of PortMidi? Seems not. It's not absolutely critical since when you get the first timestamped message that gives you enough information to figure out how the relative time relates to absolute time, but it's a little more convenient to just ask portmidi for the ms offset directly
<discocaml> <mbacarella> I don't recall. It's probably not by design. Happy to take a PR
<discocaml> <MasterBuilder> I'd be happy to make one if I knew how to make bindings 😅 haven't tried that yet, though, ctypes does seem very simple

<oriba> how can Ocaml give me st_mtime as float (which means it provides subseconds), when st_mtime of stat(3) is only in seconds resolution?
<oriba> what kind of "magic" is used here?

<discocaml> <MasterBuilder> oriba: Don't have an answer for you but this might be related https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man2/stat.2.html#NOTES could be they get the value of these fields rather than the second-level accurate ones but expose the same interface

<oriba> discocaml: great, thank you, this was helpful :-)
