I have a 2 core Cortex A53 system running linux. I am trying to program some idle-states for the cpu's. However, I am not able to see a case where both the CPU cores are hitting that idle-state simultaneously. I am wondering if someone here has had experience with getting all cores running linux to enter PSCI CPU standby simultaneously?

In my case I kept seeing one core entering then the other core comes out of it, I don't think it's some interrupt as such because I have a very minimal system with not much in userspace or drivers going on. It could be timer related, but I was hoping for some other pointers as well if anyone knows?
