17:58 <NishanthMenon> on further testing with 8.9.1 i think we might need some driver fixes.. was'nt able to get connection with 8.9.1 -> so anything in upstream linux-firmware works fine, and upto 8.9.0.90 works fine.. out of box with upstream kernel
