* mmind00 feels a bit like Dr. Frankenstein today ... trying to resurrect a rk3036-board after seemingly 6 years or so (going by the dates in the rootfs)

<mriesch> mmind00: did you get to the "it's alive" part?
<mmind00> mriesch: I did ... it's aaaaaliiiiiiiveeeeeee ... though we didn't get thunder today
<mmind00> but glmark on the rk3036's Mali400 is definitly not "alive" ... more like individual still pictures
<mriesch> :-)
<CounterPillow> if it's anything like rk3328 last I checked then the GPU OPPs are missing due to missing efuse support so it's at the lowest clock :D
<mmind00> CounterPillow: no ... rk3328 is a racing horse compared to the rk3036
<mmind00> CounterPillow: rk3036 is a "Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A7, up to 1.0GHz" ... but yes, right now it defines one static OPP at 816MHz ... with part of the problem being the lack of PLLs, so stuff is actually using the apll that supplies the armclk for other stuff ... and I'm not going to fix THAT ;-)
<mmind00> oh wow ... hdmi on my marsboard works too ... rk3066, even older ... way back when I started in 2012, the rk3066 was my first device
<CounterPillow> I think my first Arm SBC was a ROCK64 (RK3328), which I promptly let gather dust for a year or so before properly using it
<mmind00> mine was said rk3066, in the form of a BQ Curie2 tablet ... simply because I was working for them so they had devices with serial cables around ;-)
* mmind00 definitly can't solder
* CounterPillow took a soldering iron to company property within like the first week of receiving it, after asking for permission of course
