<krzk> Viciouss: the basic test for several issues is to disable devfreq :)
<Viciouss> krzk: lima is preventing me from disabling devfreq and switching to swrast gives me some headaches with mesa, is there any other way but to disable the defconfig option?
<Viciouss> another thing is, I disabled planes for the setup process and enabled them afterwards, there have been no issues, I couldn't trigger it in normal usage. it's really just the setup process
<Viciouss> which seems kind of strange to me, I'd expect it to happen elsewhere as well
<krzk> Viciouss: you can disable devfreq nodes in DTS.
<Viciouss> removed all bus nodes from the p4note dtsi, no difference unfortunately. also tried with only max freq on the gpu, just in case, to no avail
<Viciouss> on the wiki there is a mention of an issue with FIMD on too narrow planes causing DMA freeze, could this be a cause for a vsync timeout?
<Viciouss> I can finish the setup process if I disable animations or at least speed them up considerably, still after the setup is done it doesn't seem to matter how slow animations play, it works just fine
