<f_>
now that's new
<f_>
Unlike former GX SoCs, there *is* some sort of secureboot on the Cortex-M on g12b
<f_>
on gxbb/gxl only BL1 and BL2 check signatures/encryption and such, so if you end up being able to run unsigned code as BL2 you're free to go nuts on the SCP
<f_>
seems like that wouldn't be the case on g12 anymore
<f_>
looking at amlogic bsp it also looks like at least some g12b has both a Cortex-M3 and Cortex-M4??
<f_>
"security control"
<f_>
I'm calling it Magic3 then

knuxify2 is now known as knuxify
<f_>
I'd be glad to know what Magic3 is actually for though, if anyone knows and can tell :p
<f_>
but I guess for now I shouldn't need to mess around with it

f_: yeah on GXL is relatively unrestricted. G12 they beefed up the security. Probably the LPDDR4 NDA IP? everyone treats tuning LPDDR4+ like something worth protecting.
