<tolszak> narmstrong: Hi! Any idea why cpuinfo on yocto is different than on hardkernel ubuntu? I planned to use odroid port of RPi.GPIO but it detects which kind of embedded device it is and looks in cpuinfo: https://github.com/awesometic/RPi.GPIO-Odroid/blob/master/source/cpuinfo.c#L53
<tolszak> narmstrong: That's cpuinfo I get on yocto: https://pastebin.com/unW3X6DD
<narmstrong> tolszak: the hardkernel ubuntu used the amlogic 4.9 tree, the mainline arm64 linux doesn't show anything regarding the board in cpuinfo
<narmstrong> you will find the soc infos in /sys/devices/soc
<tolszak> narmstrong: Thanks! Is there a place to find serial number?
<narmstrong> wait, let me find it...
<xdarklight> narmstrong: it should be in /sys/devices/soc as well but we don't populate the serial number in drivers/soc/amlogic/meson-gx-socinfo.c
<narmstrong> xdarklight: it's gathered by the sm driver
<narmstrong> if we could read it from some registers it could have been in /sys/devices/soc aswell
<narmstrong> @tolszak :
<narmstrong> # cat /sys/bus/platform/devices/secure-monitor/serial
<narmstrong> 504e4d4d37350f00001e2801
<tolszak> narmstrong: Thanks
<narmstrong> also at /sys/devices/platform/secure-monitor/serial
