<esden>
sigh... ok the bridge should be back :/
<d1b2>
<esden> yeah ok...
<d1b2>
<lle_bout> @esdenNo problem, was just wondering what was the difference between early-bird and non-early-bird now since the reasons for that seem to have disappeared. I tried looking at your earlier posts but did not find the information. Thanks.
<d1b2>
<esden> so normally, early bird is sent out very quickly after the campaign, as I usually buy a smaller amount of parts for higher prices to do the first small test batch before the bulk of the parts arrives. Obviously in this campaign that calculation completely hit the fan.
<d1b2>
<esden> We had reserved 200 units of cases and boards for early bir
<d1b2>
<esden> So if you log in into your CS account, and see that your product has the early bird suffix, you will get your glasgow first before everyone else.
<tpw_rules>
have early bird units shipped yet? i want to make sure i don't get mine lost in shipping
<d1b2>
<lle_bout> I understand, that's OK I didnt even expect my unit to ship immediately anyway. I don't think I am early bird. How long you think until you can ramp up production for non-early-bird, namely what are the additional steps you would require to do after early bird has shipped? Thanks alot
<d1b2>
<esden> @tpw_rules no units were shipped yet, as I said above we are waiting for cases because Mouser does not want us to send any boards until we have the cases too.
<d1b2>
<esden> early bird also has cases in there so...
<tpw_rules>
ok
<d1b2>
<esden> I doubt you would miss if any glasgow stuff is shipped... this channel would buzz about it for sure. 😉

hi all, I don't think I can do a meeting today either, I'm beyond exhausted
<whitequark>
I might end up having to take days off work for this or something :/

whitequark: thanks for the heads up
<d1b2>
<esden> ok take care @whitequark Thanks for letting us know. 🙂
<d1b2>
<esden> From my side the only update is that the Glasgow revC3 is on the way to @attiegrande as agreed last week.
<d1b2>
<attiegrande> np, hope you feel better soon!
<whitequark>
it's just that i got the most severe flashback i had in like a year this morning
<whitequark>
you know, the kind where you reach a degree of depersonalization so severe the word "i" feels acutely painful and the body reacts so strongly your gut decides to go flip its orientation
<ar>
never experienced something of that kind this severe, so I don't think I can relate, but sounds terrible :/
<whitequark>
i'm almost used to it
<whitequark>
the most annoying part is that it's effectively impossible to predict. like this morning it was the sound of the portable aircon, an ikea glass, a certain texture, and talking to my gf for half a hour that caused it
<whitequark>
i know why, in retrospect, but it's essentially unfeasible to prevent it because the conditions are so specific and obscure
<whitequark>
even i can't run static analysis on my brain
