<Shoshee> @everyone Hey. I'm using an armbian OS with an Allwinner H6 chipset. On board it's 4/32 GB. But my config shows only 2GB ram and 1GB Z-RAM. How to use fully on board 4GB RAM with Armbian OS? Any commands/ suggestions?

<ManoftheSea> check your platform firmware.

<ManoftheSea> I think that the memory is set up by software at BL1 or BL2
<Armbian-Discord>
<Shoshee> How to regain or set full memory?
<Armbian-Discord>
<ManoftheSea> Get better support from the vendor.
<Armbian-Discord>
<ManoftheSea> I assume, from you not telling us the board, that it's not an armbian supported device.

<ManoftheSea> I can't claim a wealth of experience, but the espressobin and the helios64 both get their memory allocation from software that runs before u-boot. The platform firmware. So I'm speculating that this is true for allwinner, also.

<ManoftheSea> "Amlogic Allwinner" is nonsense on a stick
<Armbian-Discord>
<Shoshee> I'm a beginner. I need to check the bootloader level.
<Armbian-Discord>
<ManoftheSea> What you're saying doesn't make sense to me. What is your board.
<Armbian-Discord>
<Shoshee> ARM 64 board
<Armbian-Discord>
<Shoshee> Can't disclose the board for some issues. Kindly give me any suggestions as a generic ARM64 board with Amlogic All winner H6 chipset if possible. I just want to use the whole onboard 4GB RAM.
<Armbian-Discord>
<ManoftheSea> I cannot.
<Armbian-Discord>
<ManoftheSea> If you can't tell me the board, I can't give you any suggestion. Plus, you don't know whether you have an Allwinner or an Amlogic, which means I don't think you could make use of an appropriate suggestion.

<ManoftheSea> It sounds like you either have a tv board, which you know you're not supposed to ask for help here; or you're doing your own board for which you want free support.
<Armbian-Discord>
<ManoftheSea> So go to the vendor of your board and tell them the platform firmware doesn't identify the appropriate amount of memory, and ask for a fix there.
